Fall Pictures

I love this time of year. It is so beautiful!! I especially love taking pictures outdoors. I went out a couple days trying to get some decent shots of Kyle. Heidi had her school pictures taken this week, so I wanted to focus on Kyle. I must have taken 100 pictures. So often he doesn't want to smile for me, or he moves to fast, ect.

Some of the pictures have shadows on them, or areas where the sun was too bright. I don't know how to fix these. These pics were only edited on Microsoft office manager. I don't have photoshop on my computer, although even if I did I'm not experienced at all in editing pictures. I would love to learn more about photography and editing. I SO love taking pictures. I wish I had a good camera. Oh well. I guess I should be thankful for what I do have. At least I have a digital camera, a computer, and some adorable kids to photograph. When the time and money allow, maybe I can follow my dream to take a photography class and get a good camera.

These pictures were taken in our yard.

Kyle --16mo old

Here are a few pics from Heritage park. Kyle was SO stubborn for me.
I could not get a smile out of him!! LeeAnne was with us too. Of course he acted like a little
model for her, smiling and saying cheese! Hopefully she got some cute shots! This first one is a curiousity shot. I think he heard a dog barking, and was trying to look for it.

I hate the stupid padlock on this gate, and the shadows on Kyle's face. Doesn't make for a great picture. It's too bad! He has a cute smile here. I had to crop it significantly to make it look like this.

Here are a couple pictures of Aysia, the 11mo old little girl I watch.

Our Make-A-Wish Foundation Walk for Wishes was Sunday Nov. 2nd. Together our team, the shooting stars, raised $557!! Thank you to all who supported us! It was such a beautiful fall day at the River Park. We are going to go back there this weekend and try and get a good family picture taken by the river with the pretty fall trees in the background. Here is a picture of our team.

More October Stuff

It's hard to believe October is almost over!! Kyle is now 16months old, and Heidi is now 4. It just amazes me how fast they are growing!

Yesterday, we had our playgroup Halloween party held at our friends Karen, Meghan and Cason's house. There were tons of kids there. Kyle and Heidi had a blast. I'm glad we were able to go.

Last night, Kyle ended up coming down with a fever, woke up throughout the night coughing. I took him to the doctors and he has croup AGAIN. 3rd time now. Please pray that he gets over it quickly. Last time he got it, it developed into pneumonia and we ended up in the ER.

Here are some pics from the party. Kyle is Winnie the Pooh and Heidi is a my little pony (not my costume of choice, but hers :)

This year Heidi is in the Cherub Choir at church. They have practice on Sunday nights. This Sunday they got to wear their costumes. Here is a picture of their group.

Here are a couple pictures from this weekend. Brett and the kids carved a pumpkin.

I still need to take a picture of the final product. I'll post that later.

One of Heidi's good friends, Maggie, turned 4 on Oct 19th. They are just 4 days apart. She had her party at The Little Gym. Here are a couple pics from the party.

HEIDI'S BIRTHDAY
On Oct. 15th, Heidi turned 4. We had lots of friends meet us at Heritage Park during the day. And in the evening, Brett and I took Heidi and Kyle to Dairy Queen for dinner and ice cream.

Heidi's 4th Birthday

Heidi turned 4 on Oct 15th. We had her birthday party early this year on Oct 4th. She had an evening GIRLS ONLY pajama party--Dora Style. Here she is before the party. I took her to Super Cuts and had them curl her piggietails and put ribbons in them.
Here is the birthday girl with little girl friends at the end of the party. Aren't they cute in their jammies?
Here is a pic of some of the girls jumping on Heidi's bed. They had a blast!

We fed them pizza for dinner. Here is Heidi eating and in the background her big balloon bouquet that Avery got her.

Here is a picture of her Dora cake.

The kids watched the movie Madagascar on the big screen tv and had popcorn.

I gave manicures, pedicures, and put on makeup. Here I am doing everyone's
toes. See their little feet all lined up. Too cute!!

Here is Heidi opening up some of her gifts.

Then we everyone got a few turns at the Dora Pinata.
Here is Heidi taking her turn.

Here are all the kids picking up the candy.

And here Heidi give Dora a big kiss!

Here are some other cute pics from Rebekah's birthday party, which was the weekend prior to Heidi's. Rebekah had a pumpkin theme.

Watch Kyle Walking

Kyle took his first step on August 17th. Here we are a month later, and he has finally taken off. I love this age. It is so cute watching him try and keep his balance, or when he has his arms up high as he toddles around--being so proud of himself. Heidi is his big cheerleader. She has gotten excited about him walking, and really helped to coach him. The cutest thing was last week when he was hanging onto the back of her shirt and she started pretended to be a choo choo train. Down the hall they went. It was so precious!
Kyle is such a miracle baby! Despite his oxygen deprivation at birth, he has continued to develop beautifully. He is such a blessing! Today was his last weekly session with Kimberly, his TIPS educator from Tennessee Early Intervention. He has been with Kimberly since he was 2 months old. So it was a sad, but bittersweet day for him to "graduate". He will continue to be covered through Early Intervention until he is 2. Although right now he doesn't need any of their services. He is just eligible for their services due to birth trauma.
